Over 250 Years of History and Tradition

Founded prior to the mid-18th century, St. Machar Lodge is one of Aberdeen’s historic Masonic institutions of Aberdeen. Though its earliest records have been lost, the Lodge obtained its charter from the Grand Lodge of Scotland on 1st March 1753, from which date a continuous record of its meetings has been preserved. Rooted in tradition and community, St. Machar Lodge continues to uphold the values and fellowship of Freemasonry in the heart of Aberdeen.
